- This is a feature you can set a deduction as global. When you create a global deduction, it will automatically be applicable for all salaried employees.
- Go to the deductions and click add new button.
- Then enter the details same as creating a normal deduction.
- Click the checkbox “Is Global”. Then there will display more settings of a global deduction as below.
Salary Limit: This is not a mandatory field. If you set a salary limit, the deduction will only be applicable for the employees above the salary limit.
Deduction Rate: This is the actual deduction amount. If you check the “Is Percentage” the amount will be considered as percentage of the salary.
For example: If you give “10” as deduction rate and “Is Percentage” have been checked, the system will calculate the deduction amount is 10% of the employee’s salary. Otherwise, it will be considered as “10” Rand.
Duration: Enter the No. of months to be deducted. If not set any duration, it will be applicable for all months.
Click “Add” button after entering all data. This will automatically be applicable for all employees.
