1. Exporting wage data template
- Go to wage data import under data import.
- Select a date range and export the waged employees list as csv.
- When you click the Export CSV button, you will get a list of waged employees as CSV template. You don’t modify or insert any columns in the CSV file. You just need to enter the hours/days and overtime hours of the waged employees and import the excel file to system.
2. How to enter wage data to downloaded CSV file?
You can download the CSV template from the wage export & import sections as above mentioned. Now you have to enter the data to the CSV template as follows
In the CSV template, you just need to enter the Hours/Days and overtime columns.
- Column A: This is the system ID of the employee. You don’t change the ID.
- Column B: It has employees name.
- Column C: This is another important column for the employee wage type. There are two types of wages in our system. 1 for hourly wages and 2 for daily wages. So when you enter data to Column F, you should follow this wage type.
- Coumn D and E: This is the date range of the wage. This column will auto fill from the export csv section. If you want to change the date, don’t modify from here. You go back to the export CSV section and change the date range and export it again.
- Column F: This is the column to enter the actual work hours/days. Check the wage type (Column C) of the employee and if it is daily wage, you should enter how many days he/her worked in that selected date range (Column D and E). If the employee is not worked any hours/days in that period, you can enter 0 or delete the entire row.
- Column G, H, I and J: This is the overtime columns. You just enter the overtime hours in the columns for both hourly and daily waged employees. There columns are coming from the system. You can add, edit, and delete these overtime names in PayBell.
